Applying to Live at Gratia Plena...

Start the application process by telling us a little bit about yourself in the Application Form. There are some release forms built in, and you'll need to sign off on those as well. You'll also need three different References. Good examples of references include your spiritual director, a priest, and a parent or family member. Once these pieces have been reviewed, Gratia Plena will contact you for an interview. In the interview, we will be asking about your plan for discernment.

After the Interview...

Once you have completed the interview process, you'll be asked to provide a bit more information and sign a few more agreements. As with any religious community, you'll be required to complete a background/credit check and undergo a psych screening. Once those steps have been completed, we'll sit down with you to go through the expectations in more detail. You'll be asked to sign the Ministry Rule of Life Agreement which outlines life in the household as a community, personal formation and discernment expectations, and individual stewardship responsibilities. You'll also be asked to sign the Household Rule of Life and Rules of the Dormitory Agreements which spell out the financial and insurance expectations, your part in chores and meal preparation, guest policies, and the common courtesies of living at Gratia Plena. You'll also be asked to provide proof of heath insurance, auto insurance and registration, and renters insurance. Finally, all members of Gratia Plena must be compliant with their Virtus training.
